Twas the night before Christmas…

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house
Not a creature was stirring – well, only a mouse… 🙄 🤦

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there…

Gizmo was nestled all snug in his bed,

While visions of squirrels danced around in his head…

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
Giz sprang from his bed to see what was the matter…

Away to the window he went like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and to the back door he dashed…

The moon on the breast of the wet Cornish rain,
Gave Gizmo a reluctance to go outside again 🙄

When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But the ducks terrorising pigeons so Gizmo decided to steer clear, 🤦

So back to the blanket, under the tree
Where Gizmo waits expectedly…

Hoping that Edwin has been kind in his study,
Gizmo will surely miss his new found buddy,

So tomorrow will reveal if he’s been naughty or nice,
But either way, I’d like a few less mice 🤞

So from our house to yours, we wish you festive cheer,
We hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year ❤️

Love from Gizmo and his Human Slave 🥰
